Energy Oil contains a unique combination of oils and fatty acids, including MCT oil, for more efficient energy with rapid absorption. The oil is free of sugar and starch and is suitable for all horses, even the more sensitive ones. Energy when the horse needs it most!
Why MCT oil?
MCT is an abbreviation for Medium Chain Triglycerides, fatty acids that are of medium length and have particularly beneficial properties.
The carbohydrate of fats
A regular feed oil, which consists of long fatty acids, must be broken down before it can be absorbed by the body and used as energy. MCT oil does not need to undergo the same breakdown process but can be quickly absorbed and directly converted into ketones.
Ketones are a fantastic fuel for the brain, heart, kidneys and muscles, especially if you want to avoid the fast sugars. Since Energy Oil is absorbed both faster and more efficiently than other oils, the horse gets a quick exchange of energy. This can be compared to the effect you get from energy from carbohydrates but with the advantage that you avoid blood sugar fluctuations. The body gets an extra boost of energy, without having to use either sugar or starch.

Energy not only plays an important role in training, but also in recovery, which is very energy-intensive. Usage Instruction:
Dosage information Horse weight / Daily dose: Large horse (500 kg) / 2 dl/day Pony (250 kg) / 1 dl/day Or based on calculated feed ration. Total fat intake should not exceed 100 g of fat per 100 kg of body weight per day. The oil should be introduced gradually.
