Developed with care for horse welfare. The F.R.A. kiona combines an elegant look with an anatomically shaped design that perfectly matches the natural shape of the horse’s head. The headpiece, front- and noseband are made with a soft padding, this ensures a fine pressure distribution and gives the bridle a chique look. The soft leather reins complete this bridle, made of high-quality materials.

On this sidepull bridle the reins act directly: when one rein is applied, pressure is created on the opposite side of the nose, encouraging the horse to turn. When both reins are taken evenly, pressure on the nose helps the horse to slow down or halt.
The leather noseband runs to sturdy side rings where both cheekpieces and reins are attached. A diagonal leather strap adds stability, prevents slipping, and allows additional influence on the cheeks. This design ensures a direct and precise rein aid.
Correct positioning is essential: the noseband should sit on the firm part of the nasal bone. The throatlash should be adjusted securely without being tight to prevent twisting.

Thanks to its direct action, the sidepull offers clear, uncomplicated communication and is ideal for sensitive horses and riders who prefer a straightforward, bitless option.
Also suitable for groundwork and lunging. For simple lunging, a lunging cavesson attachment is fixed to the side rings where the reins are usually attached. For lunging with a double lunge line or using training aids, the same rings are used.
