Product description
Sweet iron is a special steel that oxidises on contact with air and moisture. Sweet iron develops a sweet-tasting surface that is perceived as pleasant by horses. It promotes saliva production, supports natural chewing activity and can significantly improve acceptance of the bit, particularly popular with sensitive or young horses. The rings are made of stainless steel.
This double-jointed D-ring snaffle provides a stable and quiet position in the horse’s mouth due to its fixed cheek pieces. The lateral guidance supports steering and can allow for more precise action.
The double-jointed mouthpiece allows for a softer and more even pressure distribution over the tongue and bars, supporting refined and precise rein aids.
Features:
- Sweet iron promotes salivation and chewing activity
- Double-jointed for soft pressure distribution
- Stable position due to D-ring cheek pieces
